Hi! My name is Kelly and I have recently retired from Hamilton Southeastern Schools. I taught for twenty-three years in grades two, three, four, and five. I am also willing to communicate with teachers of my tutoring students to make the most of our learning time together.
In addition, I am familiar with Indiana state standards. I can also help your child prepare for tests and learn how to study and stay organized.
I like to use manipulatives and a hands on approach to learning math. I have taught second through fifth grade math and I am familiar with the math standards.
I minored in general science at the University of Illinois in Chicago. I can help students organize information to better comprehend science concepts.
Reading and writing are my passion in academics. I have taught all levels of English. I have led remediation groups in second through fourth grades and challenge groups in third through fifth grades.
