I attended Elementary School, Junior High and High School in Western Vigo County. I am a graduate of West Vigo High School and went to Indiana State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher in Sullivan County and worked with children with disabilities as well. My most recent position was as an Employment Consultant working with individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment to help find them jobs within the community.
I have two children of my own, who are now married and have children of their own. I am now a Grandmother of two precious girls who are truly a joy to me. I enjoy working with children. Previously I have substitute taught children in grades K-8. I have also worked in a preschoolers. I enjoy seeing children learn and develop.
I have a good phonics background which will help children learn to spell and sound out words which helps them learn to read and spell.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
