Patient and complete Italian language instruction

Anybody can learn Italian words but, in my opinion, they aren't useful until you know how to use them along with verbs (conjugated correctly) so that Italians actually know what you are saying, and so you don't offend anyone. I tried many free online "learn Italian by yourself" apps and always felt stuck with just having words. Now, I'm amazed at how I can make sentences that I didn't realize I could do. But with the Lorenzo's structured guidance, I'm doing it. Lorenzo is a very patient Italian language teacher. His detailed knowledge about sentence structure, grammar and regional language differences in Italy is very impressive.

If you're looking for someone who'll keep you honest with your language learning, Lorenzo is your guy. He's quick to follow up with initial messages and offer availability and continues to respond to any requests in a timely fashion. Lorenzo kept my first lesson moving at an equally quick and comfortable pace, despite my sluggish participation. If I hadn't been so overtired from international travel, I may have taken him up on his offer to continue for a second hour. As an added bonus, he's quite experienced with Sentieri, which is frequently used in Italian courses. He's obviously not just an Italian speaker but also very knowledgeable about the grammar and mechanics of the language and how to best teach it. I highly recommend scheduling a session with Lorenzo (just not at the times I want). 😅

I met with Lorenzo for 60 minutes to improve my Italian conversation skills. He was able to understand me even when I made lots of mistakes (and sometimes used Spanish) and gently corrected me. The conversation was interesting and fun and I learned a lot! Looking forward to more lessons.

Lorenzo is an Italian native with an academic background, which is key for me to work on improving my Italian not just through conversation but also by covering the conjugation of verbs and grammar rules.
