I am in my second year of law school at University of Notre Dame, and plan to work in finance law after graduation. This summer, I will work in private equity, startups, and commercial real estate at a law firm in San Francisco, CA. I graduated in 2017 from Pepperdine University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school, Class of 2013, with an un-weighted 4.0 GPA.

I am a dedicated student and AP veteran interested in a variety of subjects; I took AP classes ranging from AP Calculus and AP Physics to AP European History, AP U.S. History, and AP English. Due to my distinguished performances on several tests I was presented with the AP Scholar Award. With a score of 2000, I was in the top 20% of the nation for standardized testing, and can help with test preparation for the SAT and AP tests alike.

My strongest subject areas are English, writing, and literature. I was Editor-In-Chief of my high school paper, and have been published and nationally recognized as a student journalist. However, I am well-equipped to tutor in math, language, and business as well. I am able to help with any math up to and including calculus, and I have extensive experience with Microsoft and Adobe design and business programs. I took four years of French in high school, and have spent quite a bit of time abroad practicing so I am able to tutor elementary level french.

I have formally tutored before, and I am the first person all of my friends go to when they need assistance. I am a focused, clear, and disciplined instructor; I will find a learning style that best suits my students needs and make sure they are improving. I am organized, and timely, but most importantly compassionate. I have a strong desire to see my students succeed and obtain the grade and level of comprehension they need.

My staff and I used templates I designed every issue, and I approved and edited all designs before publication. I attended a private Christian school from pre-school until 9th grade, where Bible classes were a mandatory part of the curriculum. Then when high school began, I began working on Sundays as a 4-5th grade Sunday school teacher for Countryside Community Church, creating my own curriculum based around the Orange group's curriculum. Currently, I attend Pepperdine University, a private Christian college, where I am enrolled in a religion class, and excelling at the material.

Happy child; happy mommy

My daughter was very enthusiastic about her session with Talea. She liked her as a person, was very proud of the work they accomplished and is on a better path to success. Talea was great in communicating with me as well.

Talea was great!

Talea was very thorough and patient with our son as she helped him cover a lot of review for his Algebra 2 midterm. See seemed really knowledgeable and they also had a few laughs as they worked. We would use her gain or recommend her without any hesitation!

Great Tutor

Talea has been very responsive to all our emails and text messages. She is always on time and professional. Our daughter really likes the way she tutors and breaks down the geometry lessons into more tangible concepts. We will continue to use her tutoring services.

Great tutor!

Talea helped me write a 7 page essay. She was very professional and was easy to contact. We communicated through text and email and she responded quickly on both forms of messaging. She is really nice and very helpful. My writing skills have improved immensely since working with Talea.
