Hi, my name is Virginia C., I am an individual that enjoy working with the youths. I have enjoyed having the opportunity of being the Executive Director, of a program that helps children with their Reading and Math. The program is called, The Side Walk Scholar. It is a literacy program designed by a Colleague, for children grades K-4. This program is built on a philosophical theory. We believe children should not only be seen but heard as well. We become the listeners and they become the speakers. The program is held here in South Bend, IN.

I am also computer literate. Therefore, I am proficient in, Micro/word, excel, and power-point. I am a great listener as well as a great communicator. I hope to influence students in a positive way. I have had several great teachers. And, I would like to give back the knowledge in which I was given as a student. I am determine to show progression in the field of studies I chose to tutor. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
