“**Knowledgeable and patient.**”

I honestly believe that I can help anyone understand mathematics by demystifying it, leaving no questions unanswered and no concepts misunderstood from the most basic level of "what is a number?" I needed a tutor for my son in Calculus as he transitioned from high school to college. Eric was an amazing resource with a very flexible schedule. His expertise in mathematics was evident, but his ability to teach what he knew helped my son do very well in the class. I would highly recommend Eric. He's a gem!

Eric is very passionate about math and has a lot experience teaching math.

Very knowledgeable Math Tutor, you will even learn some history about Math while he teaches! The session flew by, and I learned quite a bit, would recommend to others.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

My understanding of linear algebra comes from taking the course at Florida International University as well as 6 other abstract algebra courses above linear algebra. I would say that I know this subject in and out.

Things in Linear Algebra:

Fields, Vector Spaces, Matrices, Determinants, Linear Transformations, Basis, Linear independence, direct sum, inner product, orthogonality, and much more.

My understanding of Logic comes from taking Mathematical Logic at Florida International University. The course was very deep and theoretical, beginning with predicate calculus and ending with Godel's completeness and incompleteness theorems. I understand this subject very well.
