Hello! I am a student at Indiana University studying Astronomy, Physics, and Mathematics. I will graduate in May, so I am almost done. Due to my background, I can help with all math areas, with the exception of business math. I have spent this past semester grading algebra homework papers, and I tutored a couple students in an intro Astronomy course, raising their quiz grades from a 70% to an 85-90%.

I hope to go to graduate school this upcoming fall, but I will stay in the area. My husband & I wish to stay here because his son is just starting high school. However, should I not be accepted into graduate school, I will be taking the actuarial science career path.
I look forward to meeting you!
I have taken all the basic math all the way up to Calculus I, II, III, & IV. As a math major as IU, it is very difficult at the higher levels. I have taken linear algebra, differential equations I & II, probability I, and I am wrapping up the degree with probability II and complex analysis with applications. I have a passion for math because I need it to explain the world around me. I understand how boring and frustrating the topics can be, but I do my best to make it fun for myself. I hope I can do the same for you!
I do have a little bit of experience in teaching younger kids as well. I spent a little bit of time helping 2nd graders learn fractions. I have done a bit of outreach in astronomy at IU through their programs which included describing planets and the history of the observatory.
I can also help in tutoring in physics and astronomy. Astronomy is my best subject and I love it. Physics is great as well, and I can help with electricity, magnetism, mechanics, thermo, and the other basic physics concepts, such as waves and light. I cannot help with Quantum Mechanics. While I received a B in both QM I & II, it is very difficult for me to understand and I doubt I could explain it fully.
