I'm a physics major at IPFW. I'm soon to be graduated and will hopefully move on to graduate school in some theoretical field, maybe General Relativity.

I took difficult courses, such as differential equations at IPFW and regularly use it in physics classes. I have used it in Lagrangian mechanics, electronics (time dependent analysis of circuits), and will be using it very frequently this semester in Coherent Optics/Quantum Electronics (500 level course) and Mathematical Methods for Physicists (also a 500 level course [100 level is freshman, 200 sophomore, etc.]). Also, when I took this course, I helped 2 of my friends get through it that were taking it at the same time as me.

I also have to keep fresh with all of them as I continue to go further and further into the maths.

I play the drums in my band of 5 years, with some of my best friends. I really enjoy independent learning and helping other people learn.

CSS is relatively basic. My second semester of web design was pretty much all CSS with a little JS. With regards to math, I've done really well in those courses (Algebra/Trig, Calculus [I,II,III], Diff Eq.) and also regularly apply all of them in physics.

I've been a physics major for about 4 years now (started off Computer Science) and I love it. It's fun tackling a new problem, especially when you don't know how to do it at first. I really enjoy classical mechanics (Newtonian, Lagrangian) for it's intuitiveness, but I also really enjoy the abstract things such as the Relativities and Quantum Mechanics.

Get ahold of me! I'm pretty laid back, and tutoring sessions tend to be easy going and stress free (that's what I like to go for, anyways). If you have questions, contact me through here (it has to be done this way, per Wyzant) and we can set up time to chat about whatever you're thinking about getting help with.

Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

I am a physics major and am getting a math minor. I've taken seven college level math courses at IPFW and use all of it regularly, including Algebra 2.
Geometry,

Geometry

As a physics major, I'm sure you can imagine we do a lot of math. I am also going to graduate with a minor in math, which includes 3 semesters of analytic geometry.

I took this course, among others, at IPFW and regularly use it in physics classes. Linear Algebra,

Linear Algebra

I took linear algebra in college. I regularly apply it to find principal axes in physics problems, or to change an equation with cross terms to an equation without cross terms (I suppose this would be non linear algebra, since you have x1*x2 terms and x1^2, etc. but the same principles apply). I regularly use eigenvectors and values to find normal modes of oscillation in mechanical systems, or to solve differential equations. Linear algebra comes up a lot in physics.

Drums

I played drums in elementary, junior high, and high school. I was squad leader in marching band. I played snare, bass, and quads. I now play drums in my metal band we've been together for 5-6 years and are about to record our first album. I can read music. I can sight read percussion music. I've played drums for 6 musicals now: 3 at eastside HS and 3 at leo HS.

Knowledgeable and very nice tutor.

My son thought he was very nice. He helped my son understand the work better than his teacher. Thank you and we'll be utilizing him on a regular basis.
