My daughter was super pleased with the tutoring expertise that George brought to the table. George related well with her as she was a little nervous about trying to study Stats outside of a classroom setting and he made her feel at ease. She was actually excited about getting the help and doesn't feel overwhelmed now about her Stats class this year. Thanks, George for a session well done!

It was my pleasure, Rachael. Your daughter was motivated and teachable. This will serve her well in life. I am always happy to hear that a student is excited about math!

George is an outstanding tutor. Punctual, patient and very knowledgeable, he helped my daughter in stats and her grade improved significantly. I highly recommend him for any help you may need.

Thank you Alessia. It was a pleasure working with your daughter on her year-long AP Stats course. This is a challenging course and she did a tremendous job. I look forward to working with her next year.

My son loved George as he helped him grasp new concepts in math. He is open to structuring just the right fit. Thanks so much!

Kendall it has been my pleasure to tutor your son. He is a great student and works hard at math. I look forward to working with him again soon!

George has done a wonderful job throughout the entire process with our child. He is very knowledgeable on the topic and is patient. Does an excellent job teaching the material until understood.

Thank you for your kind words, Nichole. I love seeing the "light bulb moments" during the learning process. It has been my pleasure working with your family!

He showed me a better way of understanding word problems and how to find intersections in venn diagrams. I like that he is humorous and very kind and you can tell he cares about making sure you understand and do well.

Tiera, it has been a joy to work with you. I appreciate your hard work and determination with Finite math. Keep up the good work!

George has a good sense of humor, is upbeat, and knows everything there is to know about upper level math.

Thanks Hailey! I enjoy math and love to share that with my students. You are hardworking and dedicated to your goals - awesome work!

He helped me review for my statistics final exam by going over problems with me and helping me use StatCrunch to find the solutions.

Thank you, Rachel! It was a pleasure to work with you as you prepared for your final exam.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have been an online math professor for more than ten years. I teach at nine different online colleges (Devry, Rasmussen, Everest Online, Axia College of UoP, Grantham U, Park U, South U Online, Ivy Tech and Ottawa College.) I have taught thousands of students basic math through undergraduate math.

I think about these concepts every weekday as I work my classes through Algebra 2, and I am very familiar with what students need to know and how teachers write tests.

I have a B.S. in applied mathematics and an M.A. in pure mathematics. I took a semester course in ordinary differential equations as an undergraduate and a year of partial differential equations as a graduate student. I recently tutored my own son through a semester undergraduate course in ordinary differential equations, so I have recently refreshed my knowledge of this material.

I took this course an undergraduate in Spring 1986.

I teach this course about twice a year for Park University.

My most recent start date at Park University was January 2, 2015.

The course topics for the Park course include combinatorial circuits, sets, proofs, mathematical induction, graphs theory, counting, and probability.

I teach this class on a regular basis for Grantham University. During 2015, I have taught this eight-week course four times. The start dates were January 21, March 25, June 10, July 22, and an upcoming start on September 9.

It is listed in the course catalog as MA 170 Finite Mathematics.

The course concepts include linear equations, systems of linear equations, matrices, the simplex method of linear programming, mathematics of finance, set and counting, and probability.

I have a B.S. in applied mathematics and an M.A. in pure mathematics. I taught two sections of this course in Spring 2015, so I recently refreshed myself on this material. I have some prepared material for this course regarding linear algebra and probability.

I teach introductory college-level probability and statistics several times a year with various online colleges and universities.

I am very familiar with this material.
