I possess over 14 years of experience in accounting and finance with experience ranging from producing Financial Statements to Financial Analysis, supervising Billing and Accounting departments and general ledger and cost management in manufacturing plants. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting for Sullivan University in 2002 and earned a MBA with a concentration in international finance from Ottawa University in 2012.
While obtaining my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Student Accounting tutor. It was during this time that I realized that I enjoyed working with and helping others. I am looking forward to tutoring in a subject that I have spent the last 14 years mastering.
Daily I work in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel and Word to accomplish organizational goals. In Excel, I can build basic spreadsheets to V and H Lookups, and even write VBA codes.
In the past, I have worked as a Junior Accountant, Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant, Billing Director and Controller. Today, I currently work full time as a Senior Plant Accountant for a large chemical plant in Kentucky with duties that include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Asset Accounting and Management as well Cost Expenditures and Reduction.
I look forward to working with students that need a guiding hand in these subjects. I possess over 14 years of experience in accounting and finance with experience ranging from producing Financial Statements to Financial Analysis, supervising Billing and Accounting departments and general ledger and cost
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
