About Michelle

Hello! My name is Michelle M. I have an Indiana Teacher's License, a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Arts in Education degree, as well. I specialize in general elementary and early childhood education.

I have taught third grade for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, 1st and 3rd grades for Perry Township Schools, and early childhood education for Head Start, the federally-funded preschool program. I also taught a Child Development Associate course at Ivy Tech Community College.

Tutoring allows me to get to know your child. I will learn his/her strengths to foster growth.

I am also a seamstress with items available for purchase on Massachusetts Avenue. I have given sewing lessons for the past year and I will design a program to fit your goals If you wish to learn to sew.

I love teaching and being a positive influence in young people's lives.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
