I've been teaching ESL abroad for the past 10 years (five years in China and five years in Saudi Arabia). I'm experienced in teaching all four main skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. In addition to my experience I am CELTA certified from Cambridge University with a Pass A Certification. I am also experienced in IELTS and TESOL exam preparation. In my last position at the University of Hail in Saudi Arabia, I also wrote exams for medical students.
Besides my academic experience, I'm very flexible in my teaching style and I'm extremely personable. I really like my tutor sessions to be fun, but at the same time productive. I love teaching English to any age! I've tutored students as young as 4 and as old as... well me. I pride myself in being able to make difficult topics easy to understand. I try to come at problem areas from different angles to suit the needs of my students. Ultimately, I am confident that together we can get you to the level of English at which you want and/or need to be.
I really hope you'll come study English with me! I look forward to meeting you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
