Taylor University (Spanish Education)
I have studied piano for over 25 years! I love to play by ear, study the classical pieces, and play sacred and contemporary music. I play keys in a band also, and truly enjoy the final masterpiece of what all of our instruments produce when put together!
I have a degree in Education, and love to see my students learn and grow! I studied Spanish and Church Music at Taylor University. I studied piano and voice, and was at one time under the tutelage of a piano performance prodigy from Russia.
I am able to teach music theory, scales, rhythm, dynamics, articulation, and can teach from Beginner to Advanced. I am also proficient in guitar, flute, and am now learning the violin.

I have studied piano for over 25 years. I know classical, contemporary, and sacred music. I studied under a Russian piano performance prodigy before college, and obtained a college scholarship for music after placing 2nd in the annual Brown Music competition. I obtained a degree in Church Music and Education from Taylor University, and studied both piano and vocal performance while attending there. For my final recital, I played a movement of a Rachmaninoff concerto duo with another pianist. I also have played piano for my church band for over 10 years.
I have ten years of experience teaching Spanish beginning, intermediate, and advanced honors class at the secondary level. I majored in Spanish Education at Taylor University, and have traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. I have done personal tutoring since I began teaching. I studied in Central America as part of the Latin American Studies Program and attended international language school near San Jose. I love seeing my students grow in their love for speaking Spanish and communicating with others.
I obtained a degree in Church Music from Taylor University. I studied vocal performance as one of my instruments in the music program. I traveled to Vienna, Austria with one of my choirs to perform a Christmas show in City Hall. I am currently a member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and plan to sing in Carnegie Hall with the ISC. I am an expert at harmonization and blending. I can sing alto, mezzo soprano, and soprano. I have been in choir all my life and also have conducting experience.
