I like to tutor students taking statistics classes in research methods. I enjoy the challenge and application of this knowledge.

I do may best to help each person, But everyone approaches and values learning differently.
Many times the tutor that best fits you is one with a complementary outlook on education. The Holland code is one method to measure this outlook. My psychological profile, according to the Holland Code is IAS. The codes are I (Investigate), A (artistic/innovative), and S (social/teach). These letters are in order of importance in explaining me. This drives how I approach learning. Based on lots of tutoring and looking at where I was successful, it is clear that students who match my code do the best with me. It also turns out that my profile is somewhat different from the typical 4.0 student. My teaching is focused on learning an less on getting "the right answer."

I was struggling with the exceedingly high expectations of my manager for my summer internship, especially because I had no prior coding experience. My internship was related to a drug-development process which is very fast paced and requires knowledge of some very niche R packages such as Regularized and Sparse Generalized Canonical Correlation Analysis.
