Arizona State University (Sociology)
I have three years experience as a program manager at a local business college in the Indianapolis area. In this role, I taught all courses in the travel and hospitality program, served on the curriculum development committee for all Bradford Schools, and supervised the yearly summer externship program for my students. My experience in and passion for this subject area, as well as my dedication to student success helped this program to become one of the most successful at the school.
Even though I am currently in the IT field, my passion is to return to teaching. I will complete my BS in sociology from Arizona State University in Spring 2015, and will then focus on my master's in education. I have a wealth of knowledge from my time in the IT field, and can help with any computer-related courses you may have. In addition, I have many years of experience in helping students to craft and proofread papers and assignments, and I strive to communicate lesson material in such a way that it is both understandable and enjoyable. I look forward to the chance to work with you! I have three years experience as a program manager at a local business college in the Indianapolis area. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
