Kaplan College (Medical Assistant)
Hi! My name is Larissa. I would like to tell you a little about myself so you can get an idea of who I am. I am 22 years old. I currently reside in the Gary area but I am from the country. I did well in high school graduating with an Academic Honors Diploma. I tutored some of the students I went to school with. I am now currently enrolled at Kaplan College in Hammond, IN for the medical assistant program. I've always had a love for helping and interacting with people. I will graduate in August and I hope to work in the pediatric field. Working with children to benefit them in the best way that I can has always been my dream. Overall, I love children and being able to interact with them.
I have always done well in school, doing my work to my fullest potential. If I get the chance to help your child with their studies I will also help them with my fullest potential. I am great with children, no matter the age. My qualifications are that I am goal oriented, patient, understanding, and hard-working. I will work with whatever your child needs assistance in. I have tutored children before by using the books and information that they have. I can make my own games, such as using index cards for vocabulary or matching, and try to find ways to make it interesting for the child. I can work with the parent and the child in figuring out a tutoring plan that is effective and I am flexible. I am looking forward to meeting you! Hi! My name is Larissa. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
