Admissions essays are more important than ever. Some schools are only grading pass/fail. Some universities are waiving SAT/ACT. I am here to guide you through the process!!

With a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and a certified life coach, I have positioned myself to be able to coach, to tutor, and/or to nurture others. My greatest passion in life is helping people get from where they are to where they want to be. I can help you find your story and how to present it for your readers to get to know you better.

My areas of tutoring expertise include college admissions essay writing, statements of purpose, personal statements, academic and creative writing, algebra 1, geometry, SAT, ACT, GRE test prep.

I infuse my sense of humor and positivity into nearly all aspects of my life, including my tutoring. A blue belt and certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructor, I have truly come to appreciate the benefits of learning from, rather than fearing, my mistakes. This philosophy extends to my tutoring methods as well. Mistakes mean you're learning!

I have taken statistics numerous times over the years (for some reason it was the one class that never transferred from school to school) and helped many students understand the core concepts through my tutoring.

Super awesome tutor

My daughter had already written drafts to 3 of the common app essay prompts, but needed some inspiration choosing the best one and also developing it. Kenneth was caring, engaged, and committed to helping her find her voice and feel proud of her work. He provided excellent feedback and guidance, and even offered a free SAT lesson. She had been working with another tutor much of the summer, but after one lesson with Kenneth she said she learned way more with him! So she will be doing her last few lessons with him before her test date.

Awesome tutor

My son has already loved Kenneth's tutoring even though he just had the first hour lesson. Definitely, my son will continue his lessons with Kenneth for his college application essay.

Kenneth knows what he is doing

My son had a lesson with him, he is very good. I highly recommend him. Sometime kids needs guidance to steer their curiosity and he is definitely good at that. We will use him in future. Thanks Ken for your guidance !

Exceeded all expections

I came to Kenneth filled with self-doubt about my abilities as a writer. He filled me with confidence and assured me that he was going to help. And boy, did he help. He helped me write one of the deepest, insightful, and raw essays I've ever come across. I know that the college admissions committee will have all they need to know that I'm the right fit. By the way, he's so funny, so I highly recommend him if you need a laugh along with the best academic help you'll ever receive.
