Bio

Hello, my name is Nathanael K. I am currently 22 years old. I have been reading and writing in Koine Greek since 2008. I was 11 years old back then. By the time I was 14 I was reading the Gospels and epistles fluently. I can speak using either modern or Erasmenian pronunciation. I wrote my own chronological Gospels at the age of 15 which was done by translating every word and particle of Greek into English from the 4 Gospels in chronological order. The reason I believe that I could help tutor on an extremely professional and proficient level is because of how well the Greek grammar and structure has been solidified into my mind/thought processing. Just like John S. Mill and William J. Sidis who began to study Greek at a very young age, I too have practically grown up in the grammar and structure of the Koine Greek language. I can speak Koine Greek very easily on a verbal level. I can read Koine Greek very well, too.

For Philosophy, I love to read and memorize sections of Plato's Apology in the original Greek! I can help students who are not studying Greek to understand Plato or Aristotle. I also am well associated with the Philosophers: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Immanuel Kant, John S. Mill, Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud, William James, and Boris Sidis & his son William James Sidis.

Because of how well I know the Ancient Greek vocabulary and grammar, I believe that I could help many students of the language who are not as adept as myself. In addition to Koine Greek, I have an intermediate understanding of Classical Greek and the Greek of the early Church Fathers. I have studied Latin, Hebrew, and German to a fairly advanced level and could teach them as well.

My birthday is 3/14 or National Pi Day. This is also Albert Einstein's birthday. Because of this coincidence, I have gained a passion for the mathematical number pi, aka 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419, etc., and have memorized it to over 1,200 decimal numbers for fun. This places me in the top 50 nationwide for how many decimals of pi I have memorized and top 127 for world records. I also am very good at mathematics. I could teach anything from Algebra 2 and under with confidence. I like Rene Descartes and his theories. I especially like the Quadratic Equation and the Cartesian Co-ordinance System. Anything that has to due with Rene Descartes from the 1630's and 1640's I find very interesting. But the higher mathematics, like Pre-Calculus and Calculus, etc., wouldn't be as easy for me to teach quite yet. It's not my favorite area of mathematics, and I have a dislike for Sir Isaac Newton in several areas of my studies. I think Euler also had a nice idea about the SIN, COSIN, and TANG, but there are some areas of this which I believe could use perfection which is outside of the standard method of teachings. Ergo, I don't feel comfortable teaching either Leonard Euler or Sir Isaac Newton's work.

As far as my personality, I am a very effervescent individual as well as accomplished. I love to be creative and encourage my students to be creative as well. I abhor the old fashioned way of education which lacks creativity and demands obedience, limiting one's potentials. Instead, I like to have fun while I learn or teach others to learn. I am currently enrolled at a local community college full time this year. This leaves me with Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sun available for tutoring. Please feel free to contact me and schedule an appointment. I look forward to meeting you soon!!!

Greek,

I am experienced in translating the Greek New Testament. I spent over 3,000 hours of translating when I was 15 years old to compile a 500 page chronological Gospels. This was also done by translating the Latin Vulgate juxtaposed with the Greek New Testament. I have read copious amounts of Philosophy. Though I do not have a university's certificate, I have mainly self-taught myself as well as grew up with a home schooling mother who taught me Biblical Greek from a little kid.
Hebrew

Hebrew

Beginning at 12 years old, I learned the Hebrew alphabet and basic grammar. I took an audio modern Hebrew course when I was 13, gaining basic communication skills. Then I took a Biblical Hebrew college level textbook when I was 15 years old and additionally got to spend a weekend with the professor, Dr. Russell Fuller, when I was 16 at the seminary. I have been to Israel 7 times and spoken Modern Hebrew with live people for experience as well as read the Torah Portions for solidifying the Biblical Hebrew which I learned.

I'm a very fastidious editor and erudite writer. Having studied Greek and Latin helps me understand the English language better than I would have otherwise.

History

Bible Studies

Ever since I was 11 years old, I have read through the Bible many times and considered the stories in multiple angles and perspectives. I have interacted and made friends with many people of different religious backgrounds and denominations. I consider myself very open minded and non-judgmental towards individual's views. Meanwhile, I try my best to understand the Bible in the original context and not place any modern interpretations which were not previously there.
Philosophy

Philosophy

I can read Greek and Latin texts on Philosophy in the original languages. I've been studying Greek since I was 11 years old.

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I completed Algebra 1 when I was 13 years old in Indiana Home School.. I got all A's on my tests in Algebra and understand all the basic fundamental principles of mathematics. Now I'm studying Greek, Latin, and Philosophy more in depth, but I still do mathematics problems on the side for fun sometimes. Like when I get bored I practice imaging up Quadratic Equations and solve it with the Quadratic Formula in my head.

Geometry

I love shapes. Everything in this existential reality is in the form of a shape. Besides studying Koine Greek and Philosophy, Geometry is one of my strongholds. As far as for tutoring others, I would be happy to explain concepts in a simplified way and make sure the students understands how it works rather than memorizing routinely for a test.
