I am able to teach in all subject areas. I have also worked with multiple early childhood ages as an employee of Bright Horizons Early Childhood Centers.

I am more than happy and able to work with any existing projects, assignments, and curriculum, or to bring new material that will focus on individual needs. I think there is a lot of value in individual attention for students. I will have a complimentary meeting for all new students to help find a focus and to simply get to know each other. At the meeting we can decide on subjects, schedule and rates.

I ask for a twelve hour cancellation notice, and am happy to reschedule any missed lessons.

I started playing soccer in a recreational league in kindergarten, and continued to play throughout high school. I was a two year varsity player. In eighth grade I became a FIFA certified referee and continued that for 5 years. Also, as a junior and senior in high school I was a volunteer coach for an eighth grade travel soccer team. Although I am no longer in a league, I still frequently watch and play the game with friends.

I began taking swim lessons at a young age and completed all of the levels of swimming offered by my park district. By the time I stopped taking lessons I was able to use all competitive strokes. As a junior in high school I became a swim instructor for the park district in my town. I now teach all levels of swimming, from tots to competitive swimming, including freestyle, back crawl, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, butterfly, and breaststroke.

Great tutor

So far so good. My son has only met with Mark once, so far. My son was very reluctant to get help for Algebra. Mark's approach helped my son feel comfortable. He had a very friendly, laid back approach. Looking forward to continuing with Mark.
