My name is Pam and I am a licensed Indiana math teacher. I have been tutoring for junior high, high school and college students for many many years. I have been teaching for 24 years and have taught everything from 7th grade math through pre-calculus and have done some adjunct teaching for IVY TECH. I specialize in homework help and test remediation. I want to see kids pass that Algebra I Core 40 test, even though I do not think all kids are made for "Algebra". I do believe that all kids and learn it well enough to pass the test.
Hope to hear from you soon!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I tutor students in standardized testing every year and ACT math is usually one of them.
I have a middle school endorsement for math that begins from grade 5. My PE license is for grades 5 and up. I have many hours of experience tutoring children from age 4 and up in reading, motor skills, spelling, math, and other elementary school subject areas. As a junior in college, I went to change my degree to elementary and I it was going to take me 3.5 more years to finish and it wasn't worth that to me since my degree was already going to include down to grade 5.
