I have taught for 10 years, have worked in the business world using my French language skills, and am passionate about the French language. I am raising my own children bilingually as my mother raised me.
I focus on the spoken language while assisting with the written and reading skills. Hearing the language you are teaching is very important and sets the tone of each lesson. Working one on one with students allows them to focus better, and acquire and retain more of what they have learned during each tutoring session.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
