I recently graduated from Saint Mary's College and obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in Spanish. I am in the process of applying to optometry school and have taken a broad range of both biology and chemistry classes. I have tutored elementary students in almost every subject and have found that they have become more confident and also succeeded in the classroom. I find that I have a natural connection with younger children especially. For the last two years, I have been a Biology tutor at Saint Mary's and have helped first year students pass their beginning biology class.

As a Biology major, I have taken a number of Biology and Chemistry courses and have succeeded in them as well.

I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain for three months and was fully immersed as all of my classes were in Spanish and I also lived with a host family who only spoke Spanish.

I was a four-year varsity cross country runner for Saint Mary's College and can help encourage any girl or boy to become more athletic and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
