We have been using John B to tutor our son who is a Sophomore in H.S. and has a learning disability. With John's help my Son's grade in Algebra A/B has improved dramatically. Not only did test/quiz scores jumped in grade but so did my son's confidence. This is all due to John's very patient demeanor and ability to connect with his student. We are very grateful for John and will continue to use him.
He has been great with my son! My son is making progress in Geometry thanks to John! My son doesn't even mind doing Geometry with John. We have been using him for several months now and my son has a better grasp of Geometry.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
