I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a concentration in Criminology, Law, and Justice. I have never tutored professionally, but I have tutored several classmates since high school, and really enjoy it. When I was in elementary and grammar school, I struggled with certain subjects and utilized the help of tutors. I know how frustrating it can be when you are struggling with a subject, and I know how it feels when you are working with the right tutor, and finally able to succeed at the assignment at hand.

My high school put a very strong emphasis on writing, and I had several great English teachers who really taught me how to not only write well, but enjoy writing. I have taken those skills to college, and it has helped me immensely. I have experience writing in several subjects , and know what a tough, but vitally important skill writing is.

I am very tech savvy and have strong skills in using Microsoft Office programs, as well as other computer related tasks. In the past, I have tutored a few adults on how to use the computer, as well as Microsoft Office.

As a criminology, law, and justice major, I have experience in many aspects of the field. I have a strong knowledge of topics covered in intro criminal justice courses, such as crime measurement, courts, policing, etc., as well as more advanced topics like criminological theories and the origination of laws and social control practices.

Thank you for reading my profile, and feel free to contact me if you feel I can be of assistance. I look forward to hearing from you!
