About Adrian

Bio

I worked my entire life with math, as student for 16 years and as a teacher for 30 years, so I believe that I can help you succeed.

I love to work 1 on 1 with someone who really wants to do well in math. In my long career I had all kind of students, who liked or not mathematics, who had skin of any color, coming from all kind of environments, and I believed I helped everyone, but it is true that some people need more time than others to be good in math.

I love to work 1 on 1 with someone who really wants to do well in math. In my long career I had all kind of students, who liked or not mathematics, who had skin of any color, coming from all kind of environments, and I believed I helped everyone, but it is true that some people need more time than others to be good in math.

I taught all subjects in math starting with Pre-Algebra and ending with Calculus, for students from 5th grade to 12 grade. I also test prep my students for ACT and the new SAT if needed.

I am looking forward to help you be successful in school, make you and your family happy people and math stress free.

I also could help people of all ages to enjoy the pleasure and benefits of table tennis, with over 40 years of experience as high level player- 9th place in IL, soccer, as player and coach at elementary and high school level, and game of chess, as an avid player.

Teaching English language is a part of my job as an educator, so I can help in different areas of it, as well as Romanian language, which is my native language

Sports/Recreation

Chess,

Chess

I was taught this wonderful game by my father when I was a little kid. I started enjoying the game more and more so I started studying a little for improving my skills. I enjoyed reading chess magazines and trying to solve their problems. At one point in my life I attended tournaments. I believe I can teach any kid or adult how to play this game and improve their chess skills, because this game makes your brain sharp and last a very long time.
Soccer,

Soccer

I played soccer my whole life, as a right forward in my younger age, and right defender later on in life. I also coached boys and girls at elementary schools and also high school level. I am also a licensed referee for almost 20 years for USSF, IHSA, and college. I believe that I can help young players and prospective new referees to be successful in the future.
Table Tennis

Table Tennis

I was lucky to have access to some tables for ping pong when I was little, so I started enjoying this game more and more. In my 7th grade I met a kid who was a club player and invited me to his club. In a short time I was one of the best players and participated in the Romanian national junior division. At 18 years of age I won my first county title, and played in the second national men's league until we moved up to first division. I came in USA at that point and I started playing in tournaments reaching a rating of 2100. I won several tournament around the areas of IL and IN. I also reached the 9th ranking player in IL at the time. My work did not allow me to practice as much, so I just started coaching people who were interested in this sport. I believe that my expertise for over 40 years would help anyone interested in the most popular sport in the world.
