Hello!

I have a master's degree in human services from the University of Illinois. I also have a bachelor's degree in visual arts with a minor in sociology from University of Illinois. Therefore, I have many coursework hours in psychology, social sciences, and counseling. Additionally, I have coursework in educational psychology, education, biology, geology, humanities, speech, and literature.

I have five years of experience in substitute teaching grades kindergarten through twelfth in such subjects as language arts, social sciences, psychology, general mathematics, biological sciences, reading, and writing. It is a great joy to see students succeed and improve their knowledge, helping them to prepare for the next grade level or college.

I hold myself to high standards, and I know the importance of patience, persistence, and keeping in mind various types of learning (visual, tactile, auditory, etc) that is unique for each student.

I have taken many courses in psychology (including biology, geology, human development, educational psychology, abnormal psychology, and psychology of learning).

I always enjoyed handwriting courses while in elementary school. I also enjoy crafting, including special lettering on handmade greeting cards and other craft items.
