“**Wyatt knows best!**”

I am a relatively young former college professor who taught for 11 years at local community colleges. I began my tutoring and teaching careers simultaneously so I also have 11 years of tutoring experience. Students tend to relate to me, as well as learn efficiently from my instruction. I have a wealth of mathematical and chemical knowledge. I am

Mr Wyatt was great, this is only my second lesson but I'm confident that he is going to help me get on the right path. I like the way he jogged my memory on past math concepts and made them seem so easy. I look forward to all of our future lessons!

Wyatt reinforced the relatability of statistics and math. He helped me grasp the subject matter. He is both professional and personable.

Thanks to Wyatt my daughter said "I finally understand, this man is Yoda!" He was very easy to follow and patient.

Wyatt was extremely helpful and made our study session a breeze. He is very easy to talk to and understood how to improve common errors in my homework. I highly recommend Wyatt for homework assistance, studying for a test, or needing help with any mathematical problems you are uncomfortable in. We reviewed Derivatives, Graphs, Max/min Points, Equations of Tangent Lines- Applied Calculus.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have had 10 years of experience teaching college algebra and calculus. Each of those classes requires proficiency in algebra 2. Algebra 2 is one of my favorite classes to help students with.

I played organized basketball for six years in junior high and high school. I attended numerous camps where I showcased my skills for college coaches. I was voted a top 5 player at the U of I camp. I received multiple letters of interest from many lower level division I and high level division II schools. My first dunk occurred during my freshman year of high school.

I have been an avid physique competitor for over 4 years. I have been in 4 amateur shows since 2013. I placed 3rd in UFE fury fitness model division in 2013 and 2014. I have also competed in the NPC men's physique division. I placed third at Wings of Strength in Tinley Park, Illinois in 2014 and 5th in 2016. My 3rd place finish in 2013 qualified me to compete at nationals. You can google the photos! I lift weights and run 5 or 6 times a week and have a wealth of knowledge on nutrition, including but not limited to proper macronutrient intake. My max lifts on squat, bench press and deadlift are 445 pounds, 410 pounds and 475 pounds respectively.

I have taught business calculus as well as calculus with analytic geometry at the college level. I have a masters in engineering. Obtaining any engineering degree requires one to apply calculus at a high level. I have tutored college students in calculus for over eleven years. Due to my background in engineering, calculus is my absolute favorite area to teach and tutor!

I have both a bachelors and masters degree in chemical engineering. My GPA in this major was above 3.0. I performed undergraduate research at Illinois Institute of Technology in reactor design under the direction of Dr. Satish Parulekar. I also performed research to find novel catalysts for alkene oxidation at Louisiana State University, under the direction of Dr. Kerry M. Dooley. My favorite areas of this field include reactor design, thermodynamics and transport phenomena.

I have taught chemistry at the college level for 4 years. I also managed the chemistry lab at the same college. I was responsible for making all solutions, maintaining all equipment and setting up all experiments. In order to obtain my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, I took courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry ,physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry. I have 10+ years experience tutoring chemistry.

I have a masters in chemical engineering. I took differential equations as a sophomore and subsequently applied it in upper level courses. I applied it in reaction engineering, transport phenomena, process modeling and polymerization engineering. I also performed undergraduate research in which I wrote the mathematical models for my advisor. The model was a system of 10 ordinary differential equations.

As a college professor I taught finite mathematics approximately 4 times at Prairie State College. I especially enjoyed teaching Gauss Jordan elimination, matrix inverses and sensitivity analysis. I also lectured on basic finance topics such as simple and compound interest, annuities and amortization.

I am an avid gym rat who lifts weights 7-8 times a week. I also run three times per week as well as perform 2 cross fit workouts per week. I have competed in 5 npc physique and ufe fitness shows. I have placed 4th once and 3rd three times. I achieved this with no professional coaching, designing my workout regimes and nutrition plans myself. My maximum bench press is 375 lbs, max deadlift is 465 lbs and I have squatted 425 lbs for 6 reps. I can run a mile in 6 minutes and once completed a quarter marathon. I am also very knowledgeable with respect to supplement intake.

During my time as a college professor I taught many developmental math courses. Geometry was one of these. I taught it approximately 6 times. I have extensive experience tutoring high schoolers at both Marian Catholic and Homewood Flosmoor in honors geometry.

As a chemical engineering undergraduate student, I was required to take both organic chemistry I and II. I received an A and B in those courses respectively. The courses were extremely rigorous and I was taught by Dr. Peter Johnson, who received his Ph.d from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. To be honest, I found the courses to be fun, particularly retro synthetic analysis and spectroscopy, which were my favorite topics.

I have taught and tutored advanced probability and statistics at the college level for over 5 years. I was chosen by the Dean of Mathematics and Sciences to teach statistics to high school students in our "get ahead "program. This program allowed qualified high school students from local feeder schools to enroll in college courses during their junior and/or senior year. I am proud to say that I was the ONLY math professor given a class of ALL high school students.
