I absolutely love statistics and SPSS. My favorite subject to tutor is Introductory Statistics. This class is a bear for many students to get through; I enjoy providing many alternative ways to think about the topics in this course in order to facilitate student understanding. I currently work at my university as a data analyst, a job I applied for simply because I love working with data. I am passionate about these subjects and I love to share this passion through tutoring.
I have a passion for learning, especially for topics involving the study of human behavior. I have taught Introductory Psychology at the college level and I'm very familiar with that course. My research interests involve topics within personality and work psychology, especially introversion in the workplace and work-life boundary management.

Stacy was a great match for me. She made statistics enjoyable and easier to learn. I would recommend Stacy to anyone that might be struggling in this type of class. It shows that she enjoys what she teaches, she understands the material well, and makes learning overall fun. I will be using Stacy again before this class is over.
Stacy is a good tutor. She gives good and accurate feedback, is detail-oriented and shows a genuine caring for her students. Thanks, Stacy!
I hired Stacy to help me finalize my research paper that I've been working on for two years. She helped me tremendously by revising and enhancing my paper. Also, she is VERY knowledgeable in her field. She helped me understand many things that I did not know before, which I included in my paper. Stacy is easy to contact via telephone and email, which made the process easier and enjoyable. I was able to receive a higher grade thanks to Stacy!
I HIGHLY recommend Stacy-very reliable and supportive!
Stacy has been invaluable in assisting me with my master's degree program. I needed help with my computer skills for online classes. Additionally, Stacy has helped me organize my work load and sharpen my writing skills, including grammar, composition, topic selection, and using correct APA format. I am thrilled to have met Stacy. She is a very knowledgeable and talented tutor.
Stacy has been helping my wife get through a very tough gen ed Statistics course at the college level. Stacy has a real passion for statistics and tutoring. Not only is Stacy helping my wife learn the concepts, she is helping to improve her attitude towards math in general and providing her with the positive reinforcement and tips she needs for long term sustained success.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I took the GRE in January 2012, and I feel that the preparation I did was effective in raising my score. In addition, I've learned many tips about test taking from my many Psychology courses. The trick to improving your score is to practice often and effectively. I can help you learn how to do this.

The subject of Statistics is a passion for me. Statistics was the first class I took that convinced me to major in Psychology, a statistics-heavy discipline. I have had several graduate level courses in Statistics including Analysis of Variance, Hierarchical Regression, and Psychometrics. I love the material of introductory Statistics courses and I'm very firm on the basics.
