Edgewood College (Business Marketing)
Hi! My name is Marc. I'm 24 years old and have been working in financial services for 3 years. I graduated from Edgewood College in 2014 and majored in business marketing and management. I spent all 4 of my years in college playing for the Edgewood College Eagle baseball team. I have always had a knack for numbers.
Having a tutor with the same passions is what helps students grow and learn. I like to identify a student's passions in order to connect with them to make learning easier and fun. For me, what helps me to learn is by seeing, and relating. I always learned best when math was related to sports and money. That being said, every student is different and I cannot wait to discover your passions in order to help you learn in the most effective way possible.
I'd love to teach you any form of math, or coach you on the baseball field. Those are my passions, and I truly enjoy spreading my passions along to others. Hopefully you and I can have some fun together and do some learning along the way!
The greatest thing about life is that at any age, the most successful people in the world never stop learning. Hopefully I can teach you a thing or two and hey, maybe you can do the same for me!
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions - I'm a friendly person! I'm looking forward to meeting you in person. Hi! My name is Marc. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have played baseball since I was 4 years old. I played varsity baseball in high school and I played at the collegiate level for Edgewood College (division III). I was the captain (coaches vote) and leader (player vote) my senior season. I played infield, outfield, and pitched at various times in my college career. Most notably, I started in Right Field my Junior and Senior seasons. I continue to learn more and more about the game and I know, if necessary, any of my previous coaches would be happy to refer me to teach baseball.
