About Salah

Bio

I graduated from University of Iowa in Biochemistry and Microbiology. During my school years, I used to tutor Arabic for students in the university at different levels - beginners to advanced. Also, I tutored my friend's eight-years-old daughter. Her father is Arab but she did not speak Arabic at that time. Few years later, she became bilingual.

I lived half of my life in the US and the other half in the Middle East. What I enjoyed the most when I tutored Arabic when I was in college, that I always try to bring the cultural aspect of the language. Arabic language differs from country to another in the Middle East. I consider myself very fortunate that I lived in more than one country and I can speak many different accents and dialects

I love tutoring because you can see how learning new language can make people happier and more confident. Also I learn as a tutor. Each person can teach me something in life. Small talks in tutoring sessions add some new knowledge in the different aspects in life.

I have a full time job as a scientific salesman. I enjoy being active outside my work hours, either by volunteering or helping others.

That is why I want to tutor people how to speak Arabic and teach them more about the different cultures.

I have been playing soccer since I was 3-years-old. I won many medals as a player and I would like to start coaching soccer. I believe I understand what it takes to be a good player in the different positions and I want to pass those skills and passion.
