I have a wealth of mathematical and chemical knowledge. I am patient, prudent and capable of explaining to students in great detail. I am flexible in my teaching and tutoring styles. I am not the common "math guy," I will not bore your child!

I am extremely adept at providing students with step-by-step instructions on how to solve a myriad number of problems. I can often predict students' questions before they verbalize them. I am not boring, am capable of relating to students of all ages and can tutor math of any level, from elementary school through advanced engineering mathematics.

Students love to tutor with me. My teaching style is student centered. I am an expert in math and chemistry. I know the material and most importantly, I can help you to know it!

Statistics

I have taught and tutored advanced probability and statistics at the college level for over 5 years. I was chosen by the Dean of Mathematics and Sciences to teach statistics to high school students in our "get ahead "program. This program allowed qualified high school students from local feeder schools to enroll in college courses during their junior and/or senior year. I am proud to say that I was the ONLY math professor given a class of ALL high school students.

My favorite areas of this field include reactor design, thermodynamics and transport phenomena.
Differential Equations,

Differential Equations

I have a masters in chemical engineering. I took differential equations as a sophomore and subsequently applied it in upper level courses. I applied it in reaction engineering, transport phenomena, process modeling and polymerization engineering. I also performed undergraduate research in which I wrote the mathematical models for my advisor. The model was a system of 10 ordinary differential equations.
