Both my parents work in education so I grew up surrounded by it. I love tutoring young students because seeing them grow throughout the process is very rewarding. I've been tutoring on and off for 7 years.
I love finding different ways to teach math based on how a student learns rather than the normal lecture style.
Most of the tutoring I have done is English and Literature focused. I'm an avid reader and I really enjoy helping students break down a story to really understand the meaning of it.
Kids want to learn so tutoring Elementary Education is all about finding the best way to match a students needs. If someone struggles with reading, videos with subtitles may be beneficial supplement with a book. Or using tangible objects to understand a math lesson.
My schedule is extremely flexible!
