I enjoy teaching so long as the students put forth some effort. I am a very easygoing tutor because, as someone who often needs to take several passes at a concept to fully grasp it myself, I understand that most people need time and guidance to find their way through math and science classes, especially when school so often neglects to put math of the sturdy foothold it needs. I enjoy focusing on developing this foothold in such a way that new knowledge can be adapted and applied while also keeping it down to earth enough to do homework and tests.
I have completed a math major at Bradley -- this entails classes like Calculus I-III, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Analysis, and Abstract Algebra, all of which I have passed with A's and B's. My ACT Math was a 34 and my SAT Math was a 780.
If you're in high school or early college and struggling with algebra or calculus, I can help. If you're in college and would like a fresh set of eyes and ears for your DiffEQ and Analysis classes, I may be able to offer some insight. Please note that If you are in college and need upper-level assistance, I may not be able to help, as these classes can vary wildly in covered material. Never be afraid to ask your teachers or professors for help when you're struggling.
