As I continue my climb toward the expert/candidate master and then master titles, I would love nothing more than to help others fall in love with this wonderful game!

Chess

I have been playing from the age of 5, I have been active in the Greater Peoria Chess Federation for over 4 years, I am a Class A USCF rated player, and I won the Bradley University 51st Annual Bradley Summer Open (outright, no tie-breakers required), the 2015 rapid championship, and the 2015 ladder. I have spent the past couple years casually tutoring a friend in the game, and I have sat in on multiple lessons a local tutor offers while he is teaching another student so that I can better understand how to teach the game.
