I am a former National Merit Scholar with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University. While attending undergrad school I was a lab assistant/TA for the introduction to ME courses, ME101 & 102. Afterwards I spent several years with Belcan Engineering and Caterpillar performing training and meeting facilitation. Now I am working on my Masters degree online and wanting to fill my free time by helping others learn.
I believe that everyone learns a little differently and am willing to adjust to what works best for each student.
In addition to taking extensive math for my engineering degrees, I scored a 790 on the math portion of the SAT and 32 on the math portion of the ACT.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University (Peoria, IL), awarded in December 2006. During my time in college, I was a lab assistant for ME101 & ME102, aiding with lessons, grading (with comments), and working with students on their homework.
