Bachelor of Science (Biology)
Loyola University Chicago (PhD)
The University of Western Australia (Master's)
I have immense experience teaching students and especially high school and college students for the last 15-20 years.
I was head of the department of Chemistry at a private school in Singapore where I taught for 5 years after completing my Masters and later went on to pursue my Ph.D in Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology at Loyola University, Chicago.
Because of a passion for teaching, I started my own learning Center for elementary and high school students besides taking private tutoring as well. I use simple yet creative methods to help students understand the concept, extracting ideas from everyday things we do and the tools that we see around us all the time. Students are able to connect to these things easily and grasp concepts faster.
I also currently work part-time as a professor at Elmhurst College teaching human biology to graduate students.
My vast teaching experience coupled with my educational qualification equip me fully to teach students in all areas of Chemistry and Biology.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your goals. I have immense experience teaching students and especially high school and college students for the last 15-20 years.

I am a student struggling in a course I like to think was put on earth to test ones patience. I have had a handful of tutors throughout my years in school and being a college student it is not easy to find a tutor whom is able to offer what you need. Mr. T was very quick to respond when I needed the help for an upcoming test he wasted no time to get me in his office and provide his assistance. I have had tutors before whom are knowledgeable in the content but truly did not have my best intent in mind where as Mr. T does. He not only gave me a better understanding of the specific material I had sent over, but he also explained the course I am in and how to go about getting the best out of my time in the class. If you are looking for a tutor with all of these qualities then he is right for you. Coming from someone who has never used the internet to search for a tutor Mr. T exceeded my expectations.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a PhD in molecular Biology, a MS in molecular Biology and a BS in Biology.
I have been tutoring Chemistry for high school students for many years. Was also the head of the department of Chemistry for around 5 years in a private school.
I have a Ph.D in genetic engineering and molecular biology from Loyola University, Chicago, graduated in 2005. I have worked as a Post doctorate fellow and later as Research assistant professor at UIC for over 5 years. I have taught students as assistant professor at Roosevelt University for a semester in biology. I currently teach biological sciences including genetics at Elmhurst College for graduate students.
I was head of the department of Chemistry for almost 5 years in a private school after completing my Master's in Biotechnology. I also used to privately tutor in chemistry, including organic chemistry, for high school students. Later I went on to get my doctorate in Molecular biology which of course includes several aspects of organic chemistry. I continue to tutor students in chemistry and organic chemistry.
