About Bryan

My specialty is basketball as I played in college at the University of Iowa for two years and then Loyola University of Chicago for two years. My great strength was in shooting and I've worked with other kids in the past including my own in developing their form and skill in improving their shot.

My tutoring approach is to get to know the students and understand what their goals and objectives are for improving their individual sport. My style is very relaxed and I try to keep it fun, but at the same time work hard on fundamentals and drills to help them get better in their respective sport.

I played Division I basketball and was heavily involved in fitness activities while playing in college as well as bodybuilding to stay strong and develop my size as a player. I love working with kids I'm very patient and the best thing about it is seeing the kids improve and their confidence grow from your time spent with them.

If you want to develop your basketball skills as a young person I have a wealth of experience that I can impart to you to improve your overall game.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Basketball

I am qualified to tutor in this sport as I played Division I basketball at the University of Iowa for two years and then Loyola university of Chicago for two years.
I have coached my own boys in travel teams over the years and worked with individual kids to develop their skills in shooting, rebounding, ball-handling, etc.

Bodybuilding

I am qualified to tutor kids with bodybuilding techniques that will improve their skills in their individual sports. I was exposed to various methods of weight training nutrition and fitness exercises to build my own body while playing Division I basketball.
There are specific weight training exercises that help enhance skills for basketball and other sports that will improve a young person's game in terms of skill, endurance etc.

Fitness

I'm qualified to tutor and assist young kids with fitness because I am an avid fitness person myself. I lift weights I run I stretch. All of these things help develop a person's skill and strength as they mature and grow. I was exposed to a lot of different fitness Programs through my experience in college and playing basketball at the Division I level.
