I have 50 years C level business experience combined with 23 years teaching undergraduate, graduate, and adult education. I hold a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting and am a CPA.

My titles have been Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). For most of my career I had responsibility for profit improvement, expense management, and capital investments. My work experience includes strategy, administration, information technology, accounting, finance, human resources, external sourcing (legal, banking, investment, risk management, consulting, trade groups), financial relations, mergers and acquisitions, policy and procedures. Additional responsibilities were liaison with auditors and lawyers, creditors, regulatory and taxing authorities, shareholders and stakeholders. I was a member of the board of directors and of the executive committee.

I help my clients develop their tactical “career success plan”. It is an action orientated strategy that includes goals, milestones, and accountability. I teach them where and how to network. They are tutored on the skills of good communication: oral, written, nonverbal, numbers and metrics, and listening. My clients learn how to present themselves in the most positive light. We develop powerful resumes, cover letters, and the thank you. They learn how to customize their documentation to meet the needs of prospective employers. They are taught interviewing techniques and I guide them on how to answer the interviewer’s questions. I emphasize the importance of research of the target employer so that I have additional tools to make a good impression.
