New to Wyzant! ~400 hours of tutoring experience!

I am a Georgia Tech student graduating BS Industrial Engineering in December 2023. I started tutoring English at my high school’s volunteer tutoring center in 2018. I have been a teaching assistant (TA) for Probability, Chemistry, and Statistics. I was awarded 2022 Undergraduate TA of the Year by my department. I earned Level II certification from the College Reading & Learning Association by completing a university course on tutoring. I worked for Georgia Tech Tutoring for three semesters, including one semester as a mentor. In addition to coordinating schedules and software, I trained eight new tutors in biweekly sessions and conducted two rounds of performance evaluations.

I love helping students! I defer to an active learning style where I guide students to answers rather than giving them directly. I am very flexible on tutoring style, lesson plans, and formats to adapt to the student.
