Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Econometrics

I have taught Economics, Statistics and Econometrics in University of Illinois as a PhD student.
Later as a faculty in Illinois State University I am teaching Statistical Reasoning in Economics which is essentially Econometrics.
I have also worked with Econometrics packages like R, Stata and SASS in the lat 15 years.

Finite Math

I am a faculty in Illinois State University. I have been teaching all different Math courses including Finite Math, Algebra, etc for several years in Illinois State,

Before that as a PhD student and a Teaching Assistant I taught so many courses in Math department in University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

I have actually invented some games too that are related to the Finite Math and help students better understand these topics.

GRE

For the quantitative reasoning part of GRE, not only I teach you the materials but I also teach you tons of shortcuts for how to answer most questions in under 15 seconds so you have more time and peace of mind for questions that need more time to answer.

Linear Algebra

I have had several different linear algebra courses mostly in graduate level. I also needed to use optimization which is heavily based on the linear algebra for most of my career. Linear algebra has also been a topic that I have applied a lot in programming in software like R, MATLAB, etc.

MATLAB

I have taught Matlab to the undergraduates in the University of Illinois as part of an introductory computer science course.
I have also extensively used it for my research during both my Masters and Phd.
Finally, I have used it for work related purposes in optimization, drawing complicated 2 or 3 dimensional graphs and many other applications.

He explained co-variances which I did not learn previously so it helped with the building block that I needed to progress.
