I have now returned to public education where I am working in a special education classroom for multi needs children ages third through fifth grade.
I am confident that I can help all students understand any subject they are struggling with. My strength is being able to communicate to the student the exact steps they need to take to understand how to complete their assignments.
Because of my diverse education, I have the ability to present material in many different ways. Assessing a students strength and weaknesses helps me to teach them so that they can reach their full potential. This is what I consider one of my greatest strengths. Learning how my students learn best is what I do to make them most successful.
If you would like to see your student reach their full potential I would love to see if we would make a great fit. Please contact me to schedule a lesson. Elizabeth is very patient and knowledge. She listens to your concerns and will work with your child to help them meet their needs. Also love that I get an overview of the session and lesson plans of what will be covered at the next session. If you are in need of a tutor, I would definitely recommend Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was very thorough with her initial assessment. She is engaging and is able to make a child want to continue to learn.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
