Hi! I'm a friendly, caring tutor with a low-key, laid back style. I'm patient, responsible and won't let you down.
Spanish, as any other language is more than just vocabulary and grammar, it is a culture. I am fully aware of the dialectic variety of the different versions of Spanish, and can teach following the norms of usage of Mexican Spanish, Spanish from Spain, or any country in Latin
Why I'm the BEST TUTOR EVER!:
I truly love working with students one-on-one, and have a lot of experience teaching and tutoring children, youth, and adults. I hate boring grammar drills, so unless you really want to do them, I won't make you. Instead, we'll use language in a way that practices the skill we're working on and is also interesting and authentic. I always ask the people I tutor to set goals, whether that goal is to get an A in a class or to understand a movie without subtitles. I understand how second language acquisition works, and will do everything I can to make your time with me not only productive but also fun!
In addition to knowing Spanish, I spent six months in the Dominican Republic teaching adults to read and write. I'm currently helping adults preparing for their citizenship test.
Thanks for looking at my profile, and have a great day!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
