I currently am double majoring in Political Science and Finance at Bradley University. I graduated with high honors from Yorkville High School, and achieved the award of AP scholar with distinction. I work best with students in high school and college because I have experience tutoring subjects such as English 101, AP Language & Composition, AP Literature, and High School level English classes. I passed both the AP English and AP Literature exams, with a perfect score of a 5 on the writing intensive AP Language & Composition Exam. I was trained specifically how to help students work through their own thought process while working for the writing center in the Yorkville High School Library.

Personally, I believe it is most important to help the student create the best version of their own work. In order to help students achieve the highest level of success, it is important to help them to talk through their own ideas before then formulating a plan of attack as to wording the ideas. I focus on helping the student to improve his or her writing through discussion rather than being told one concrete way how to do things. I strive to influence students in a positive way through giving them the support they need to build confidence in their writing.

In my eyes, there is no greater satisfaction than witnessing a student obtain newfound confidence in his or her writing. I offer a superior value due to my limited experience, and I will adapt to meet any needs of my clients. I am flexible in scheduling and will reply with swiftness.
