Each client comes with a variety of skills, education, work experience, and range in age from a child to adult. The first initial session is free and will give me a feel for your language skills, your expectations, and can tailor a lesson plan to meet your needs. We can discuss: schedules, locations to meet, and lesson materials. Tutoring will be conducted in a public venue such as a library, church, school, college, park district, etc. Located in Morris, IL, I prefer not to travel too far and will consider meeting you part way. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
