I started my college education at Marquette University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in physics. I also did research in astronomy. I continued by earning middle and high school teacher licensure at Marquette and by completing a Master's in Education. This has really prepared me to teach and tutor effectively. I also had the chance to do extensive tutoring for the Upward Bound program for first generation college students at Marquette. After teaching high school physics and biology in Milwaukee, I decided to go back to school to move into university teaching. I completed a Master's in physics and a PhD, also in physics, both at Northern Illinois University. During this time I did research at Fermilab. I then did research at Purdue University for two years and now am a professor at a local four year university, where I have been for four years.
I am very passionate about science and education in general. I have lots of experience tutoring and teaching many different subjects. I strongly believe in the importance of education and appreciation of learning and the arts and love to share and discuss anything. My primary training is in science but I also am very experience in writing, mathematics and much more.
I have a doctorate in physics as well as extensive training in educational methods and lots of experience teaching physics at all levels.
I look forward to meeting you and exploring science, math, writing and much more. I hope to hear from you today!
