Hello, my name is Vikram Tammana, I am a fourth year medical student at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. I am a USMLE Step 1/Step 2 CK tutor with a score of 265+ on step (March 2021) and 275+ on Step 2CK (June 2022).
I have a total of 6 years of tutoring/teaching experience which started while I was in high school (2015) tutoring math and science through a school organization. Additionally, during this time I was involved teaching and training in Karate at my local club. In college, I additionally began tutoring in general pre-med classes such as biology, organic chemistry (2017-2018) and I was also a Supplemental Instruction leader for the Organic Chemistry lecture. I also have work experience as an Emergency Department Scribe where I was a trainer from 2017-2019. Finally, I have been working as an MCAT and general medical school subject tutor through Varsity Tutors since 2019.

I have a total of 4 years of tutoring experience in basic sciences, standardized testing (MCAT) as well as 1 year of experience in general medical school subject tutoring. Now that I have taken USMLE Step 1/2 recently and received great scores, I am confident that I am knowledgeable about the subject material and testing strategy in order to help my students succeed in this high-stakes exam.

I truly enjoy meeting new people through tutoring, sharing experiences and enhancing each others' knowledge. My tutoring style for USMLE includes a lot of practice questions and I think making connections between material while doing questions is the best form of studying for this exam.
