About Grant

I am currently enrolled at the University of Illinois-Chicago as an undergraduate majoring in Political Science with a concentration in law. Along with my studies, I play for their Division 1 Men´s Soccer team which means I have to be very organized and on top of everything 24/7. I finished high school with a 3.25 GPA and earned a score of 1820 on the SAT.

Throughout my life, English has always been my strongest area in school. I finished my senior year with a B+ in AP English which happened to be my lowest grade I received in the four English courses I took in high school. My mother was my English teacher in Middle School so I have a very deep background in English education. My SAT score in Writing was 600 and my reading score was a 630. Although not as high as I should have received, I gained many great tips from my teachers that I can share with prospective students.

I love teaching and I have always wanted to assist others in their education in order for them to reach their highest potential. Both of my parents are educators and I am also currently enrolled in College which allows me to help whomever with more than just learning material. I will help you create a study plan and guide in order for you to learn as efficiently and effectively as possible. I look forward to working with you!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Basketball

I played on my High School´s Varsity Basketball team from Freshman to Junior year. I started playing basketball when I was in 5th grade. I am very interested in the analytical and technical side of basketball and I believe those are essential in order to succeed in the sport.

English

I have achieved a combined 1230 SAT score on the Reading and Writing portions of the SAT.

I took AP English and IB English HL in high school.

Because of my SAT score I was able to earn credit for English at my University.

I was formerly a tutor for younger students at my high school.

Soccer

I have been a soccer player since I have been three years old. I won the high school national championship with Montverde Academy when I was a senior in high school in 2015. I currently have my F coaching license which allows me to coach teams of players ranging in the ages of 3-8.

Track & Field

I was a varsity track runner my senior year in high school. I ran the 400 and the 800 meter races. My team qualified for regionals in the state of Florida for the 800 meter race.
