I currently work as a Sr. computer technical specialist with over 20 years of technology experience ranging from software development, IT architecture, design and management. I am an exceptional technology leader skilled at technical execution and delivery. I have a successful track record in delivering small and large computer systems, mentoring and teaching both individuals and small groups. My work experience includes technical delivery, innovation, operations and support and global team management.
I am interested in tutoring for several reasons. First, I tutor kids in my own family, and they always come away saying I explain things better than their teacher, and they get concepts so much better after working with me. Additionally, I have a strong technical background. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science, I am a certified software engineer, and I passed the level I architecture exam. Lastly, I received straight As in math in high school, and tutored my classmates, so I have a strong math and science background.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
