Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Arabic

I am a native Arabic speaker. I lived over 20 years in the Middle East prior to coming to the USA. I am also very fluent in English and would like to assist those who are learning Arabic with reading, writing and speaking the formal language or some spoken regional dialects.

I am an Architect by profession, have taught in Arabic after my graduation as an Assistant Professor, practiced my profession in 3 countries in the Middle East and have been a Department Chair and Professor at a reputable College in the USA.

Tutoring Arabic gives me the opportunity to make friends and to speak with them this eloquent language.

Architecture

I am a registered (licensed) architect. I have over 20 years of experience in practicing architecture. I managed architectural practices, including my own, in the USA and overseas. I taught Architecture and Urban Design as a professor for 5 years and I was the Director of the Urban Design Program at Savannah College of Art and Design.
