Stan is an excellent tutor! He explains concepts with the data and he makes sure that you grasp it before moving on. He does not give you the answers, but helps you to figure it out for yourself and then has you explain it back to him so he knows that you get it. Would highly recommend for College Stats.
Stan has done a great job tutoring my son twice a week on 2 college courses, and we appreciate his teaching skills.
Stan's a fantastic tutor! I just got an A on my Statistics final. I couldn't have done it without Stan's assistance! I will also be calling on him when I take Bio-statistics. Thank you, Stan. We got an A!

Stan is clearly brilliant in Math, and communicated his knowledge clearly, with kindness and patience. I found him enjoyable to be around as he has a terrific personality with a great sense of humor. As I further my education, I will keep Stan at the top of my list of options where Mathematical help is concerned! Highly recommended!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught statistics for over 15 years at the University level, as well as tutoring individual students and small groups for more than two decades. My BA in Physics and Math, as well as my MBA have helped me relate well to the bio-sciences, health-care and social sciences. The math is the same, and I have learned the "bio- terminology".
